Switched By: Amanda Hocking Book Review

When Wendy Everly was six-years-old, her mother was convinced she was a monster and tried to kill her. It isn't until eleven years later that Wendy finds out her mother might've been telling the truth.

When I got a chance to review this book for Amanda, I only knew as much as you (the description above). I didn't know what to expect. When I started to read this book it almost instantly grab me and  sucked me into all the mystery behind it all. This book was my first Amanda Hocking and let me say she is in my Top Fave Authors. I can't wait to read her other series My Blood Approves (which she too request I review).

Wendy is a girl who had a hard life growing up, someone who was a brat and being accused of being a monster by your own mother totally sucks. Personally I adore the character Amanda choose to write about. Wendy is someone in the beginning you love to hate. You love; because you feel for her she had a rough few years. Hate because she sucks and is rude and doesn't appreciate what her family has sacrificed to see her happy. She is not only is ungrateful, she too does is rude to those who care for her. So after throw Wendy's personality down. Hehe. Anyways Wendy then starts growing on you especially when she actually starts caring, and trying make friends. In comes Finn a guy who you at first think is an awkward weirdo, who then turn into my totally addiction. The there is Rhys, how to describe him..... Hmm lets put it this way the cutest puppy dog a girl could ask for (not literally a puppy).

Sorry for some spoilers, but this book needs some freedom I promise there is a lot to this book.
Ok so let me set something straight I have seen reviews for this book that say the beginning of this book is slow. The is technically true, but not in the way you might think its slow in the form of action. This book needs explaining so the beginning is the pre-explanation to what we are getting into with this series. But let me tell you I have read a few books with these pre-explanation and yes they are boring because you just want the book to begin. Amanda pre-explanation was not only entertain it had you crave more, and addicted with only one chapter. Before moving on I have to applaud Amanda for opening my eye to yet another paranormal group that I am totally addicted to. I am also proud to say her book was my first Tyrlle book and also Changling (question are they both the same exp: If I were to say I read a book about Changling would you know it was about Tyrlle?).

Amanda has one imagination that could make me think this could possibly be happening today. Her writing also Emotional provoking (I dunno what else to call it), let me explain usually other authors will get the butterflies in my stomach reaction out of me, there was also an author that had me clapping. In Amanda's book she had me feeling everything, from tears to joy, to giddy, I felt it all. For those who know me well, know I hate crying, absolutely despise crying and she made me feel good even with the sadness if came with that particular part.

This book is one awesome bundle of joy. I eat this book up I could barely put it down before bed, and also trying to sneak in time into my busy morning to add some extra sentence to my day. This was an awesome begging book to a series that I'm dying to read. Amanda please write the next one soon. I'm dying!! Oh and I hope that answer your question YES there is a cliff hanger. Oh and yes I will spoil no more so head over to Amazon and get you own copy. I promise you will not regret it. Also if you do not know who awesome Amanda Hocking is head over to her blog and find out more (for link click name). You can also find Amanda on Goodreads, Facebook, and Twitter.

Look out for more book by Amanda Such as My Blood Approves out now. Also coming out soon Book 2 in the Tyrlle

I would Personally Rate this Book:
 55555

Happy Reading Guys!!

With the help of Finn Holmes, Wendy finds herself in a world she never knew existed - and it's one she's not sure if she wants to be a part of. (Summary thanks to Goodreads)
