Dead Girls Dance By: Rachel Caine Book Review

Claire Danvers has her share of challenges - like being a genius in a school that favors beauty over brains, dealing with the homicidal girls in her down, and above all, finding out that her college town is overrun with vampires. On the up side, she has a great roommate (who tends to disappear at sunup) and a new boyfriend named Shane... whose vampire-hunting dad has called in backup: cycle punks who like the idea of killing just about anything.
Now a fraternity is throwing its annual Dead Girls' Dance and - surprise! - Claire and her equally outcast best friend, Eve, have been invited. When they find out why, all hell is going to break loose. Because this time both the living and the dead are coming out - and every body's hungry for blood.

LOVED IT!!! Lately all the sequels to series I adore have kind of SUCKED!! But Dead Girls Dance was a big bang in action. I think it had the right number of action it wasn't to much, this book will have you going, and craving more.

I adore Claire and Shane I get butterflies when I read about them. I DON'T KNOW WHY!! As I said these character are easy to like (good ones) and the bad ones easy to hate. I still think Eve is my favorite she's so feisty I love it always ready for a fight. I like Michael but I pity him... (WILL NOT SPOIL BOOK!!! :). One thing I really adore about Rachel Caine's writing is she does not have a lengthy intros she leads right into the action. (YAY).

I'm not usually a big, big fan of mystery, but the way the book deals with it I dunno the best word to describe it...... Slick!! Don't expect anything, because you think one thing and its has you fooled. I adore Vampire Series and this series proves why!! Vampire's aren't to be trusted or are they??.... Read this book and Find out!! Ohh last thought I prefer the UK Cover so yeah!!

I would Personally Rate this book:
 5555

Glass Houses By: Rachel Caine Book Review

College freshman Claire Danvers has had enough of her nightmarish dorm situation. When Claire heads off-campus, the imposing old house where she finds a room may not be much better. Her new roommates don't show many signs of life, but they'll have Claire's back when the town's deepest secrets come crawling out, hungry for fresh blood... (Summary thanks to Chapters Indigo.ca)

This book was totally not what I expected. Glass Houses was full of action from the beginning til the end. It caught me at the first few pages. I adore the whole mystery behind Morganville and its people, it gave this book an awesome twist. The characters were well developed also so mystery to couple of them, and they were easy to relate to, some were extreme and I have never seen nothing like them, but books need their villains right? I haven't felt giddy or scared, nervous with a book ever but this book brought things to life. This may sound weird but there were parts where I could feel what Claire was feeling; such as when she walked up to the Glass House the nervousness of not being accepted, when she see the people in Morganville with there heads down and kind of rushing I felt nervous and scare but also questioning why? I just thought the description for sentiments were totally shot on. I adore Vampires, (and Witches, not that this has anything to do with this) they are my favorite paranormal characters and this book could make anyone team vamp even if they portrayed as cruel and powerful and sometimes ruthless. This book is so captivating that I read it in a day and a half (they are short novels) but they will real you in, until you can't put it down. Example: there was a morning I was on the street car on my way to work (this is the actual day I completed the book) and I actually missed my stop purposely just to get that extra reading time. Anyways back to the review this is totally a must read, if you like vampire, paranormal YA then this is definitely a books for you. Cover, cover, and cover this usually helps sell a book with me Glass Houses cover is totally eye catching, but I do adore the UK covers better, but US are awesome too. Heres a like to Glass Houses UK Cover Click HERE.

So people may judge me for this but here I go:

I Would Personally Rate this Book:  5

Happy Reading Guys!!
