Waiting On Wednesday (1)

"Waiting On Wednesday" is a weekly meme, which is being hosted by Jill over at Breaking the Spine, that shows off the books that you have been pining for that there release is upcoming and we can't wait for them to be released, so I use this meme to settle that addiction to owning this book.

So this weeks "can't-wait-to-read" selection is:

Varen -- a Poe-fan and goth -- and Isobel -- a cheerleader and unlikely heroine. When a Lit. project pairs the two together, Isobel finds herself steadily swept into Varen's world, one that he has created in his notebook and in his mind, one where the terrifying stories of Edgar Allan Poe come to life. Isobel slowly learns that dreams can be much more powerful than she'd ever expected, and that pain and despair come in all sorts of shades. As labels of "goth" and "cheerleader" fade away, she sees more in Varen than a tall, pale outcast, and a consuming romance is braced against the ever-clearer horror that the most terrifying realities are those within our own minds.

When Isobel has a single chance to rescue Varen from the shadows of his own nightmares, will she be able to save him -- and herself? (Summary Thanks to Chapters Indigo.ca)

This books sound super intriguing, and I just adore the cover so tempting!! This books release is to be set for August 31st/10 so it's a bit far away. I'll be waiting for this one!!

So whats on your WOW this week don't forget to leave me a link or you could even tell me in the comment box!!

Happy Reading Guys!!

This book sounds so cool! I've always been drawn to the goth type of guy and I love Poe, so this book is practically written for me. And you're right-the cover is tempting. Release date is so far away though! Urrr...

I'll have to look for this one next fall. It sounds like it would be a hit in my HS Media Center.

My Waiting on Wednesday (or Want to Read Wednesday) post is here.

I like the cover. It does sound like a great novel and I like the inclusion of Poe. I think this might be a Debut author too. Great pick!

Here is my WoW pick.
