Evermore By: Alyson Noel

Since a horrible accident claimed the lives of her family, sixteen-year-old Ever can see auras, hear people''s thoughts, and know a person''s life story by touch. Going out of her way to shield herself from human contact to suppress her abilities has branded her as a freak at her new high school-but everything changes when she meets Damen Auguste...Ever sees Damen and feels an instant recognition. He is gorgeous, exotic and wealthy, and he holds many secrets. Damen is able to make things appear and disappear, he always seems to know what she''s thinking-and he''s the only one who can silence the noise and the random energy in her head. She doesn''t know who he really is-or what he is. Damen equal parts light and darkness, and he belongs to an enchanted new world where no one ever dies. (This summary was thanks to Chapters Indigo.ca)

This book where to start... Evermore was instant captivity. I don't know why I waited so long to read it, I actually owned this book about one year until decided to give it a try. It was so worth it. This book is new to me, the topics, the paranormal side, and its uniqueness. This book is filled with mystery, not the kind you want to pull out hair over, the kind that intrigues you to read more and find out.  Character, I thought Ever was awesome, her character and aspects of her life all fit so well. Haven and miles I adore, Haven rich girl who cries for attention, Miles the gay BFF we all should have, who just wants a prince charming. The only con is that the mystery was good, but I thought there would be more to the ending then that, it was good but not good enough (I know nothing is perfect, but it was really close to). Damen, Damen, Damen, how you confused me throughout out the book, I love the mystery to him, but out of all character favorite has to be Riley, she kills me.  I don't want to kill the book because most of it is about the unknown, so I'm trying here. I like how Alyson Noel added another Paranormal to my addiction. This book is a bit predictable, but nothing big like I did not expect the ending not a clue. If you have read the book don't you love the whole flowers thing. What a bang on first novel in the Immortals Series, I am a little scarred to start Blue Moon just because the things I have heard are not in its favor. I will give it a try, but for now it will have to wait like 6 books in front. If you are a teen and like Paranormal, Romance, and Mystery then you will love this book. I only appreciated the book cover after having read the book. I love it now. Sappy moment.....

I would personally rate this book:  5
P.S. I just really liked the book.

Happy Reading All (don't forget leave me a comment on your thoughts, on either review or book)

I love this book! It's one of my favorites in recent history. Ever's plight just pulled me in and didn't let go. Blue Moon isn't quite as good, but it was *definitely* worth the read. I can't wait until the 3rd one comes out in paperback!

I agree, it was kind of predictable, and then BAM! Totally threw me at the end. :-D

This is probably the best book in the series :)

I love Evermore, although I was a little disappointed by Blue Moon. Hopefully Shadowland will be better. And yes, the whole flower thing was cool :) Great review!
