My Teasers:
"Then from somewhere behind his I saw a flutter of activity as a curtain of darkness entered the clearing. The power I had been tapping into faltered and sputtered, as if something was draining it away from me."

I really enjoyed the first in the series. It totally kept me entertained and wanting more. Especially its take on the Parathlon (with Centaurs oooh yeah). I have slowly started to read this one again and I am totally liking it. But I wish there was more time in a day.

Radiant Reviews: Dead is Just a Rumor By: Marlene Perez

As the creepy little town of Nightshade prepares to celebrate its 200th anniversary—on Halloween, of course—many of its paranormal residents are receiving mysterious blackmail letters. Psychic teen Daisy Giordano and her sisters set out to find out who is behind the threats. But launching an investigation isn’t easy for Daisy with her overprotective father watching her every move. Though she’s is happy to have him back after the years he spent being held captive by an anti-paranormal group called the Scourge, Dad is having difficult time adjusting to home life—and the fact that his little girl is now a senior in high school. He even disapproves of Daisy’s boyfriend, Ryan. Can their relationship take the strain?
And Daisy’s got even more on her plate: A talented amateur chef, she has won cooking lessons with celebrity chef Circe Silvertongue. After nosing around (with a little help from Circe’s pet pig), Daisy begins to suspect the temperamental chef’s secrets aren’t only in her ingredients...
The fourth installment in this favorite series is full of surprises and scares! (Summary Thanks to GoodRead )

So guess who's back? Yep thats right Daisy Giordano is back and for those of you who read the other know that when Daisy's around there is always trouble. I really adore this series it's actually one of my favorite paranrmal nov els. Marlene Perez makes these books in this series full of all our favorite Paranormal friends Exmaple: Vampires, Werewolves, Witches, Shifters, Ghosts, Invisable people, Telepaths, mind readers, and last but not least Mermaids.

Like always a book has the good guys and the bad guys, there has to be evil of some sort for the book to be tempting. This book has you guessing from the begging and let me tell you I only realized who was playing all the jokes, and causing all the ruckus probably only a little bit before Daisy, and not a lot though. I loved these characters right from the first book. Another thing I liked about Marlene's' writing is that as the characters got older in years they also seemed to mature (the reason why I'm saying this is that there are a lot of books that the characters don't see to grow). So by saying that I could tell that Daisy and her friends were in their senior year, not the kids we were first introduced to 4 books ago. Don't get me wrong, but there is always a but when saying such nice things so the But: Daisy at some points in the book gets Whinny (I could picture her stomping her feet).
So Marlene Perez keeps getting better even though there is no way of beating the first in the Series Dead is the New Black, but Dead is Just a Rumor was fairly closeThe reasoning to why I think these books are so lovable is that instead of basing the book on one major occurrence that build and builds until problem solved. Marlene Perez writes about many occurrence that maybe will all work out to be the same-thing, but for now thats enough no more giving information.
I would love to rate the cover of this book, but as I received an e-Version for review (thanks Net Galley).  Last thought I do truly wish these books were longer.

Book Review in a quote: "Easy to love Paranormal Young Adult, I call it a full packaged deal with 218 pages"

Series Order:
1. Dead is the New Black
2. Dead is a State of Mind
3. Dead is so Last year
4. Dead is Just a Rumor (To be Released: Aug. 2010)
5. Dead is not an Option (To be Released: Spring 2011)

I would Personally Rate this book:

Switched By: Amanda Hocking Book Review

When Wendy Everly was six-years-old, her mother was convinced she was a monster and tried to kill her. It isn't until eleven years later that Wendy finds out her mother might've been telling the truth.

When I got a chance to review this book for Amanda, I only knew as much as you (the description above). I didn't know what to expect. When I started to read this book it almost instantly grab me and  sucked me into all the mystery behind it all. This book was my first Amanda Hocking and let me say she is in my Top Fave Authors. I can't wait to read her other series My Blood Approves (which she too request I review).

Wendy is a girl who had a hard life growing up, someone who was a brat and being accused of being a monster by your own mother totally sucks. Personally I adore the character Amanda choose to write about. Wendy is someone in the beginning you love to hate. You love; because you feel for her she had a rough few years. Hate because she sucks and is rude and doesn't appreciate what her family has sacrificed to see her happy. She is not only is ungrateful, she too does is rude to those who care for her. So after throw Wendy's personality down. Hehe. Anyways Wendy then starts growing on you especially when she actually starts caring, and trying make friends. In comes Finn a guy who you at first think is an awkward weirdo, who then turn into my totally addiction. The there is Rhys, how to describe him..... Hmm lets put it this way the cutest puppy dog a girl could ask for (not literally a puppy).

Sorry for some spoilers, but this book needs some freedom I promise there is a lot to this book.
Ok so let me set something straight I have seen reviews for this book that say the beginning of this book is slow. The is technically true, but not in the way you might think its slow in the form of action. This book needs explaining so the beginning is the pre-explanation to what we are getting into with this series. But let me tell you I have read a few books with these pre-explanation and yes they are boring because you just want the book to begin. Amanda pre-explanation was not only entertain it had you crave more, and addicted with only one chapter. Before moving on I have to applaud Amanda for opening my eye to yet another paranormal group that I am totally addicted to. I am also proud to say her book was my first Tyrlle book and also Changling (question are they both the same exp: If I were to say I read a book about Changling would you know it was about Tyrlle?).

Amanda has one imagination that could make me think this could possibly be happening today. Her writing also Emotional provoking (I dunno what else to call it), let me explain usually other authors will get the butterflies in my stomach reaction out of me, there was also an author that had me clapping. In Amanda's book she had me feeling everything, from tears to joy, to giddy, I felt it all. For those who know me well, know I hate crying, absolutely despise crying and she made me feel good even with the sadness if came with that particular part.

This book is one awesome bundle of joy. I eat this book up I could barely put it down before bed, and also trying to sneak in time into my busy morning to add some extra sentence to my day. This was an awesome begging book to a series that I'm dying to read. Amanda please write the next one soon. I'm dying!! Oh and I hope that answer your question YES there is a cliff hanger. Oh and yes I will spoil no more so head over to Amazon and get you own copy. I promise you will not regret it. Also if you do not know who awesome Amanda Hocking is head over to her blog and find out more (for link click name). You can also find Amanda on Goodreads, Facebook, and Twitter.

Look out for more book by Amanda Such as My Blood Approves out now. Also coming out soon Book 2 in the Tyrlle

I would Personally Rate this Book:

Falling Under By: Gwen Hayes
In her dreams he’s irresistible—seductive, charming, and undoubtedly dangerous. But when he appears to her when she’s awake—and captivates her just the same—she’s not sure which way is up and which is down.

Theia Alderson has always led a sheltered life, not allowed the same freedoms as the rest of the teenagers in the small California town of Serendipity Falls. But when a devastatingly handsome boy appears in the halls of her school, she feels every urge she’s ever denied burning through her at the slightest glance from Haden Black. Theia knows she’s seen Haden before—not around town, but in her dreams.

Theia doesn’t understand how she dreamed of Haden before they ever met, but every night has them joined in a haunting world of eerie fantasy. And as the Haden of both the night and the day beckons her forward one moment and pushes her away the next, the only thing Theia knows for sure is that the incredible pull she feels towards him is stronger than her fear. And as she slowly discovers what Haden truly is, Theia’s not sure if she wants to resist him, even if the cost is her soul.
