When I found out that Hilary Duff wrote an novel I was intrigued. Once I finally read the description I was so pumped to read it. So I finally picked it up and I was flipping pages and loving it. It only took me a couple of days to finish and I was dumbstruck by the ending. I shall explain. This is one of the reasons it took me a while to rate this novel, because the beginning I would have rated one thing and then ending another. 
I was so surprised that Hilary Duff (with help) could develop a book with so much potential. I adore the idea to a new Paranormal. I liked the characters, my favorite had to be the Protagonist Clea, she wasn't that oblivious girl who sometimes got on my nerves. I liked her from the first pages. I also like Rayna she actually reminded me of me (lol). I adore her friendship with Clea the reason is, because I could relate me and my best friend are that close.  I loved how mysterious Sage and Ben were it was like we thought we knew them, but we don't. The description in the novel were good, there were parts where I could picture what was happening, but then there were times where I had to stop and think.
If you asked if I like the book before the ending I would have said hell yeah. Once I read the ending, it ruined my overall judgement of the overall book. This book was a quick read. I think with time Hilary Duff will be an awesome add to the Young Adult Paranormal Authors. I love the cover. This picture doesn't do any justice to what the book looks like in person. It's has a matte finish. I would recommend giving it a try, but just be prepared for the ending. I don't know for sure if there is a sequel in this book, but with that ending I do see the possibility.

Accidentally Demonic By: Dakota Cassidy Book Review

I adore this series it might be my favorite Paranormal Romance Adult series. If you do not know who Dakota Cassidy look her up she is AWESOME. Anyways lets get on to my review.
Accidentally Demonic was as good as I presumed it was going to be. Casey is a girl who's living like a slave, a slave that would put other people before her self. Casey job is to cleans these other peoples messes as if it was nothing. Then one day Casey wakes up and doesn't remember why she is currently in jail (yep thats right she wakes up in jail not knowing why she was arrested). Casey no only woke up in a jail cell she also wakes up with a hot temper, literally. I really liked Casey and the reason is that she reminded me a lot of Nina who is also my favorite. I thought Nina was feisty, but I think Casey topped her in this book. Another character I loved had to be Clayton oh I totally developed a crush on him. I totally dig the vampire hotties. Lets just say one of Casey regular day at work turned into a night of hell. Not only is she starting fires she is also falling for a man that is dating her other half the demon half. I know weirdddd.
This was my first Demon related novel and I am glad it was Dakota book that was my first. I totally love how she writers her books they are so easy to relate to the character (even under the circumstances). She also described certain situation so vividly I sometime could imagine the things happening. I also like how these books can be independant novels and or read in a series format. In Accidentally Demonic not only did we have the original three Dakota also introduced new character, she also re introduced Clayton. Clayton which was originally from Accidentally Dead. I really liked that because not only are we getting to know Casey our protagonist we also get to know Clayton better. This book is a bundle of joy at times there are serious moments, then there is romance, sarcastic and witty moments, and then there are moment that make you wonder. Not only is it a bundle of joy it is also a full house we get a lot of the awesome Paranormals in one book. I adore this cover (actually all her covers) it is so eye catching, as well the colors are so bright and I hate orange. I can keep going on about how much I adored this book, but there isn't enough room on my blog. This book had to be my favorite in the whole series. I can't wait to see what Dakota does with Accidentally Catty to bad that the release date seems so far. 
Just a reminder this book is an Adult series and is not attend for teens. I just felt like i was introducing a movie. "This book is not attend for teens, it may contain coarse language, and sexual content readers please be advised." (As I say that last thought in a broadcasters voice He he he he :) ).

I have to start out by saying this has to be one of  my favorite Paranormal series. If you have never heard of Cassandra Claire before reading this review please look her up. City of Glass is the third book in the Mortal Instruments Series. City of Glass has an awesome cover very eye catching, also I like that all the cover's flow with each other and have very similar aspects. I'm also glad that all our past favorite characters and also favorite paranormals are back, and as well some new characters. So let get on to the fun stuff my review.

Clary, Simon, Jace, Alec, and Isabelle are back for yet another awesome installment in the Mortal Instruments series. I'm so glad that as the series processed you can notice that Clary has been maturing. I find that Clary is stronger as a person not as oblivious, as well you can see how good she is, and she is becoming more confident in her actions. I adore the main characters especially Jace who is one of my fiction crushes, but my heart goes out to Simon poor guy keeps getting himself in sticky situation. I do adore Simon but I dislike the idea of him and Clary. Alec another awesome character I'm so glad of who he has become I feel like I have seen him grow. Isabelle who is just Isabelle. We are introduced to a new character one that I found shady from the start and his name is Sebastian. Then you have Valentine stupid, stupid Valentine. If you can find anyone who matched so well with the definition of evil it has to be hands down Valentine. One good thing is we finally understand why Clary's mother and the whole Valentine thing went down, we also see more about Clary's mom and Luke (I know I'm being a bit vague it's just I don't want to spoil the book since it was AWESOME so read it and you'll get all your questions answered).

This action packed Third novel in Clare's Mortal Instrument is my Favorite book of all time especially in this series. City of Glass is the longest book in the series and I completed it in like a couple of days of starting it. I adore Clare's imagination and how everything goes so well. The best part about imagination is writing is being able to describe it so we the reader can picture what you want us to see. I must say is that Clare had me picturing everything with her awesome description. I also like how the series came together all in this book making it action packed. All loose ends come undone in this book first the mystery to helping Clary's mom, and now the Romances as well even if some are predictable so times in life things need to be predictable so I shall not judge. Ha ha ha could also have something to do with the fact of liking the out come (I know vague again, but I mean it READ it I promise AWESOME). I can go all night about things I loved about this book and how awesome I thought it was. The problem in that is that I don't have enough space, and I don't want to spoil the book for you guys. I know I'm missing things, but I'll close this review with thank you Mrs. Clare for yet another amazing book which had me up all night because I couldn't put it down. You had me cheering, tearing up, and smiling all throughout this book so I thank you.

I must say I'm usually hesitant reading the second novels to any series. The reason behind that is that I find that most authors hit all the right notes in there first and then when it comes to delivering the second they kind of coast by. Don't get me wrong I think a job as an author is hard so I'm not trying to offend anyone. Anyways thats besides the point (I swear totally got side tracked) this book was better then I expected. I thought it was a good second. Evernight was hard to beat but this one wasn't to far behind. Saying that, let me go into more details. 
Stargazer starts off with a little adventure as Bianca is breaking into Mrs. Bethany's cabin. Then the mystery begins. So in this novel a new paranormal was introduced "Wraiths" which I dislike calling them that, I prefer Ghost. These Wraiths are no Casper the friendly ghost. NO, no, no these ghost may be mysterious at times, but as well there are nights where they could keep you up. These Wraiths even begin attacking the school. So back to Bianca she comes up with the ultimate plan, she has been missing Lucas a lot since he was forced to escape Evernight Academy. The reason she needs a plan is because Mrs. Bethany is Mrs Bethany un-trusting, sneaky, and the fact the Bianca dated a person within the Black Cross she is definitely watching Bianca closely. Let me give you a hint this plan involves Bianca and my favorite fiction crush Balthazar and a relationship!! Dum dum dum dum dummmmm. Yep thats correct I said relationship, well you must be wondering why, well I got the perfect answer. Read it and find out. 
Stargazer is a roller coaster ride one you don't want to miss. There is a new kind of evil that will haunt you, and have you asking for more details. New relationship, and lets not forget the old ones as well. At Evernight people Bianca thought she could trust are not what she expected. This was a good book and I can't wait to read Hourglass, especially with a table turning ending. Hope you enjoy this one as well.

I must say some books surprise me. This book is definitely one of them. I was kind of nervous when I agreed to review this book. The reason is I have never heard of the author (sorry Ms. Arthur). I have to say what a hit this book was. For Artist's first teen novel she did an awesome job the story line did have a slow start, but once it did get going I just couldn't put this book down. The concept of the book was new and exciting, even if I love my vampires and other paranormal character the Mystyx's are Paranormals I would love to add to my list of loves.

This books is based around Krystal a girl who has been put through a lot, you would think it would get better... You guessed it just gets worse. Krystal's a teen who's parents were recently divorced (she blames this on her mother) they moved from New York back to her moms small home town of Lincoln. Oh wait it gets better Krystal's mom re-married a man named Gerald, a man Krystal really dislikes. Ever since the divorce Krystal takes everything out on her mom Janet she barely talks to her and when she does shes a brat, she is on first name basis with her mom talk about disrespectful. You think thats bad out of nowhere ghosts start approaching her, especially a very cute one named Ricky. This is when the story gets juicy Krystal then meets other teens that also have weird things happening to them. The three of them embark on a mysterious hunt to help Ricky solve his death. One thing I really disliked about Krystal was that she was so terribly rude to her mother. I come from a very European family so if I was ever this rude to my mother all hell would break lose, no matter what she could have possibly have done. I have to say I don't know what Krystal could possibly be feeling, but my roommate and best friend has also gone through very similar situation and they did not act at all like Krystal did. Once you start seeing the softer side to Krystal I liked her, and sometimes was able to relate to her. Sasha and Jake are total opposites but fun and very easy to like. 

Well back on track this book was an awesome roller coaster ride which I did not regret getting on. This book was a fast read but was detailed enough for its pace. Artist brought a new look into paranormals and I think she's here to stay. This books ending had you wanting more, but not necessarily a cliffhanger. One thing I must say before I end this long review is that the ending was definitely very unpredictable, but I totally loved it.

Moonlight was a novel that I have heard a lot about for a while, not all good so I had some hesitation in picking up this novel. I thought I would give it a try. I was very surprised on how this book captivated me, had me wanting more. Moonlight is the first in the Dark Guardian series. Which after this book I am proud to say I want more and actually bought the rest of the series once completing Moonlight. I have never read any of Rachel Hawthorne books before this one and I was very surprised how she hit all the right note in writing a unique paranormal plot.

I found the characters in this novel very well thought out and very easy to understand while still being mysterious. I'm not a big fan of werewolves I dunno why, but my friend and some family are very team werewolves when it comes to reading paranormal. After Moonlight I think I might look into more novels involving Werewolves (any good recommendation?). Anyways we will start off with Kayla poor, poor Kayla who has had a very unfortunate past, because of that past she is know in the middle of the forest. Kayla is very out there (personal information wise), but yet distant and mystery to her. Lucas at first I thought he was a stalker, and a bit creepy, might I add. Lucas does then become my book crush for this novel, and no other man in this book wins that little. Mason, I dunno I get bad feelings that all I can say, and Kayla maybe be right about him being the safer option (or is she:). Lindsey is awesome and reminds me of my friend Linds.  I love how this book kind of introduces us to what happens after Moonlight. Evil in this book is another kind of evil no the typical evil kill take over the world good against bad (somewhat) this book touches on other issues.

This book overall was a good read I really enjoyed it. Somethings I disliked were there were some transition that had me a bit confused nothing major. The beginning of this book took a while to actually get in to. So when you do start stick with it, because the best part of the book is coming soon. I like the cover to this novel. Rachel Hawthrone did all the right things in this plot. So if your looking for a quick and great read be sure to pick this book up. Can't wait to see Lindsey's point of view.

     Yet another exciting installment in the Drake Chronicles. Much to my dismay I was sad that in Blood Feud we would be reading Luke and Isabeau. Solange and her best friend Lucy were my favorites, I had grown so attached to their point of view (POV). That I wasn't excited to view things as Isabeau and Luke. I was excited for yet another view into the Drake world,  but again sad about Lucy and Solange. Let me just tell you when their were mentions of Nicholas and Lucy I did get excited!! SO lets get on to it. 

     Isabeau and Luke are here to stay both from different places and brought up differently. One royalty, and the other a hound. If you have read the first in the series then you realize a hound is low (vampire wise). They live in the caves and relate to dogs. When getting to know these characters we get three POV's two of one character and one of the other (those people being Isabeau, Logan). Isabeau getting two POV's (sounds confusing but let me explain). Isabeau; we get to see past and present and see how she became! Unlike Luke and the Drakes, Isabeau was made, and not pleasantly might I add. Life seems Handy Dandy. Don't be fooled. If the Drakes are back then Solange's world renown "Stalker" comes too. As always Mortimer has a plan to court Solange and take the thrown. To do that Mortimer must face some hurtles. Mortimer is evil but don't be fooled much more evil is coming to the Drakes even the Hounds are faced withe the evil that is lurking through the night. Doesn't that tweak you fancy. The story begin with Isabeau and her past.

     Alyxandra Harvey did a spectacular job at delivering yet another beautifully written installments in the Drake Chronicles. As always the characters were well thought out well deliver with great imagination behind them. The character were believable and as I stated in my review of Hearts at Stake there were times where I was feeling what they were suppose to be feeling (sounds confusing but I hope you understand). Let me tell you as the book progressed I found myself thinking I knew what the ending was going to be like, I thought I knew who was behind all the mayhem. As I said don't be fooled and as always when dealing with vampires keep your eyes open. I adore this cover might be my favorite of all even after seeing the new cover for the third installment Out for Blood. Mrs. Harvey had great transition in between her characters POV's. I really like the extra point of view Isabeau had, and seeing how difficult her life was before and realizing who she is because of her past.

Be sure to pick up Hearts at Stake the first in the series I promise you will not regret it and once done that one then Blood Feud is a great follow up.

     What a book I don't even know where to start. First I have to say a lot of writers have been trying to attempt to write Paranormal Romance (as the genre is very popular) some authors have succeeded in versatile writing and others have failed. Meg Cabot succeeded, and you can tell she did her research on the subject.  Most historical references where are real which was an added bonus to making this storyline seem believable.

So guess who's back? Yep thats right Daisy Giordano is back and for those of you who read the other know that when Daisy's around there is always trouble. I really adore this series it's actually one of my favorite paranrmal nov els. Marlene Perez makes these books in this series full of all our favorite Paranormal friends Exmaple: Vampires, Werewolves, Witches, Shifters, Ghosts, Invisable people, Telepaths, mind readers, and last but not least Mermaids.

Like always a book has the good guys and the bad guys, there has to be evil of some sort for the book to be tempting. This book has you guessing from the begging and let me tell you I only realized who was playing all the jokes, and causing all the ruckus probably only a little bit before Daisy, and not a lot though. I loved these characters right from the first book. Another thing I liked about Marlene's' writing is that as the characters got older in years they also seemed to mature (the reason why I'm saying this is that there are a lot of books that the characters don't see to grow). So by saying that I could tell that Daisy and her friends were in their senior year, not the kids we were first introduced to 4 books ago. Don't get me wrong, but there is always a but when saying such nice things so the But: Daisy at some points in the book gets Whinny (I could picture her stomping her feet).

So Marlene Perez keeps getting better even though there is no way of beating the first in the Series Dead is the New Black, but Dead is Just a Rumor was fairly close. The reasoning to why I think these books are so lovable is that instead of basing the book on one major occurrence that build and builds until problem solved. Marlene Perez writes about many occurrence that maybe will all work out to be the same-thing, but for now thats enough no more giving information.

I would love to rate the cover of this book, but as I received an e-Version for review (thanks Net Galley).  Last thought I do truly wish these books were longer.

Accidentally Dead By: Dakota Cassidy Book Review (Adult Paranormal Fiction, Not a YA novel)

Before starting my review I just have one thing to say you must Read Accidental Werewolf it will help in understanding where Nina comes from, or else you might not like this one. After reading Accidental Werewolf, I wanted more of all the characters especially my favorite Nina. 

Nina's is the most sarcastic, rude, and full of drama character that everyone will love. Nina added such a flare to this series that after the first book you want more of here!! So I picked this book up asap after finishing the first in the series. Let me tell you this book did not disappoint me at all. I like Werewolves, but to me they have nothing on Vampires. 

I adore Dakota Cassidy's writing it's so smooth and easy to get addicted within pages. Dakota's take on vampires is unique and fun. Dakota's characters are well thought out and come together so greatly. I adore the men she chooses. Greg is so hot, with an edge great for Nina the Sarcastic she Devil. She has some awesome friends because if it was up to me I would have told her to go floop herself ages ago (yet I love her), but deep down Nina has a heart. The more you read this book the more you start seeing the light at the end of Nina's Tunnel of Love. 

The only thing perdictable is the Romeo and Juliet love story, but other then that I would have never guessed where this book was taking me. WHICH ISN'T BAD!! I adored this book and eat it up. BUT!! This book did have some parts that where a little dry (but nothing to big) and thats probably why it doesn't have a perfect rating. Also the reason for this judgement call is I have to compare this to the first in its series, and it was a BANG of a book. 

This is Not a book for Teen's (Due to coarse language, and some other stuff so I give it 18+). This book is a Paranormal Romance. MUST READ :) Sorry if I spoiled anything but I couldn't resist!! Dakota's awesome definitely check her out!!
